One of the things I appreciate most about shopping Wayfair Canada is the sheer amount of choice. There is a lot to sort through, but tucked amongst it all are some really beautiful pieces that feel timeless, elevated and far more expensive than they actually are.
Over the years, I’ve found everything from furniture and rugs to lighting and smaller finishing touches for our home, so I thought it would be helpful to gather some of my favourites into one place.
And if you happen to be shopping right now, Wayfair Canada‘s Labour Day Clearance is currently on through September 7, with savings of up to 70% off. I’ve included links to some of my favourite finds below, including pieces we own and others I think are especially lovely.

Furniture Worth a Second Look
When I’m shopping for furniture online, I’m usually looking for pieces that have a little more character than something overly modern or trend-driven. Warm wood tones, traditional silhouettes, natural textures and details that make something feel as though it could have been collected over time are always what catch my eye.
Rugs That Give a Room That Collected Look
A good rug can completely change how a room feels. I tend to gravitate toward rugs with muted colour palettes, traditional patterns and enough variation that they don’t feel too new or perfect.
They’re also one of my favourite ways to bring a little pattern into an otherwise neutral room.
Lighting
Lighting is one of those details I think can make an enormous difference in a room.
Rather than treating lighting as purely functional, I like to think of it almost like jewellery for a space. A beautiful sconce, lamp or pendant can add warmth, contrast and character even if nothing else in the room changes.
Pieces We Own and Love
I always find recommendations most helpful when someone has actually lived with a product, so these are a few of the Wayfair Canada pieces we currently have in our home.
A Few More Pieces I’m Loving
These are some pieces I don’t personally own but would happily use in my own home.
I’ll continue adding to this list as I find new pieces worth sharing, so consider bookmarking this page if our styles are similar.
How I Shop Wayfair Canada
Because there are so many products available, I find it helps to shop with a fairly specific vision rather than browsing endlessly.
I usually start by thinking about the material, silhouette and feeling I want a piece to have. Search terms like antique brass, aged wood, traditional rug, linen, turned leg, vintage-inspired, marble, woven and English country tend to lead me closer to the kinds of pieces I love.
I also pay close attention to dimensions. Something can photograph beautifully online, but feel completely difference once it’s in a room, so I always measure that space before ordering.
And finally, I read review especially the ones with customer photos. They’re often the best way to get a sense of the true colour, scale and finish of a piece.
Happy shopping!
